For my liquid, I used water and used the Anu Essentials Nourishing Gel Shampoo to cleanse my hair. After cleansing, I felt like my hair was too dry. The sample kit didn’t include a conditioner, so I added one I had on hand. (*Note* This may have been where I messed up the system). In retrospect, I believe they try to balance the levels of moisture by having less softening properties in the shampoo because the oil is so strong. So, if you use the system, be sure to only use a little oil because it really does go a loooong way.
The oil is also a head-to-toe product and can be used for nourishing your body as well. I recommend trying it in the place of a lotion as it really will keep you smelling good all day. Though, I wouldn’t suggest putting it in your hair and body, as it may be overpowering.
