I’ve been a Sephora addict for over two years now. Within the first year of discovering Sephora, I became a member of their Beauty Insider program. The Beauty Insider is frequent shopper membership which offers point rewards and perks based on your ranking in the program. There are three levels of the program:

So this leads me to last weekend, when I RSVP’d for the VIB Rouge private event to kick off Beauty Insider Appreciation Week (August 3 – 9). This is the semi annual week where Beauty Insiders, of all levels, receive multiple points on all of their purchases (Beauty Insiders get 2X the points, VIB 3X, and VIB Rouge 4X). Then, once the week is over, they can redeem the points for exclusive gifts, ranging from 1000 points to 10,000 points! These rewards are absolutely a makeup lover’s dream! Some of the gifts include exclusive designer makeup, designer bags, special versions of coveted products, and even trips to makeup brand HQs!
My mother and I, both VIB Rouge, went to the Providence Place location (Rhode Island). The event occurred 2 hours before the store opened to the public, which gives the VIB Rouge members a private shopping experience. It’s very luxe, with breakfast, makeovers, brand representatives, a gift bag full of deluxe samples, and 4X the points on all of our purchases. I picked up a few things that I had been dying to have.
