We are at the beginning of another year and as we all often do we hope for something new without taking the time to look at what may prevent us from getting there. Just about everybody has something that weighs them down, preventing them from what’s possible. Preventing them from moving past wishing and hoping to actually doing and becoming. So as we move forward in our mission to live as the highest and best version of who we were created to be, let’s stop for a minute and intentionally lay aside anything that could weigh us down in our journey toward our goals and dreams.

Think about it for a second, if an airplane is too heavy it will crash. Think of the singer Aaliyah and her tragic ending due to being in a plane that’s cargo was too heavy to fly. So think of it this way, if you have things weighing you down, how will you fly to the heights possible for you? Here are a few steps to take so that you can lay aside anything that may be weighing you down.

1. What’s On Your Mind? Here’s what I know – “What You Think About, You Bring About” and sometimes we play negative things that have happened to us over and over again in our minds. When you’re stuck and the same thing seems to happen to you over and over again, the first thing you should stop and examine are your thoughts. Understanding the way you think and why you think it, is the first step to changing what gets manifest in your life. Replace any negative thoughts with thoughts and words that can create a new reality of what you DO want to manifest in your life!

2. Learn to Let Go. Part of renewing your mind is to let go of things that have happened in your past. For example, when we think things like “all men are dogs” that usually stems from a man that hurt you in the past. Realize that how people treat you is their choice, however how you allow it to affect you is yours. So find the lesson from everything you have been through so that you can stop beating yourself up or being bitter about it and you can move on from it. Release, forgive, learn the lesson and let go.

3. Take Action. So many people think if it’s “meant to be,” it will come to me. However what I know is that it is when you take ACTION that things happen. So get in action! Choose one step to take each day that will move you that much closer to your goals and dreams. Stop waiting for things to happen and do all that it takes to make them happen.

The Important ThingOverall, we truly think that the drug blocks the sensory nerves that project the pain messages sildenafil prices to the brain, as well as relaxing muscles, thus making them less sensitive to an onslaught of pain. 4. Do it Afraid. You have to understand that if you are doing something you have never done before, it will be scary. Often times that fear is that you will fail. Understand that along the way, you may just mess up. So shift your perception of failure from something to avoid to something that is here to teach you and allow each lesson to move you further down the path toward your goals and dreams. After all, “life’s adversities are God’s universities” so stop allowing fear of failure or fear of even starting to paralyze you and know that on the other side of your fear is where you will meet opportunity!

5. You Are More Than Enough. I spent years trying to be perfect only to realize how exhausting that was! Realize and accept that you will have shortcomings; you do have flaws and know that inside of your breakdown it leads you to your breakthrough. So always know that you have nothing to hide, protect, prove or defend and choose to do YOU without apology.

Once you become aware of what has been holding you back you can choose to deal with it and move into a new truth or you can be in denial. Denial usually means staying stuck and never doing anything to create a new reality that will move you into all that is possible. My challenge for each of us in 2015 is to accept a new truth. Allow yourself to acknowledge what has been weighing you down, be mindful of that thing that has been in your way and do all that you have to do to move past it as you take hold to all that you desire and see it manifest in your life.
