Eye makeup can be very time consuming. Most of my time on my face is spent on the eyes. This is especially true when I’m going for something dramatic. Something with a deep crease, shimmer, a cat eye liner, falsies, and the whole nine yards. So in the interest of saving time, a quick change of lipstick can take your look from day to night. But your girl loves to flex her creative muscles, so I can’t just grab one lippie and put it on. I like to create lip “looks”.
This week, I’ve created a shimmery eye look with two lip styles. The pinkish purple lip (night time) features a shimmery topper, so it’s more glam/editorial. The nude matte lip (day time) is an ombré, great for everyday wear. I also played with high and low end products. The shimmer comes from Surratt Beauty. The Prismatique Eyes is an eye shadow duo features a shadow base and highly pigmented eye shadow. I was inspired by a beautiful lip look I saw on a Facebook beauty page. It featured a berry lip with a shimmery highlight dusted on top. I used the same shadow from Surratt Beauty on both my lids and lips. The lip color is Vintage by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I love the outcome!
