Mastering The Law of Attraction

For those of you who know me personally, you may know that I am a huge believer in the Law of Attraction (aka LOA). What exactly is the Law of Attraction? It is the magnetic power of the Universe that draws similar energies together. It manifests through the power of creation, everywhere and in multiple ways. What you consistently think about will find a way to manifest. This law attracts thoughts, ideas, people, situations and circumstances, whether good or bad.

 
I had heard of the Law of Attraction, but never paid attention to it. One day I received the book “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne, and began to read it. I was captivated! It made such perfect sense to me.  But I realized that I had always knew what the Law of Attraction was well before watching this movie and reading the book, but now, I wondered what took me so long to acknowledge it!

 

 
How to use the Law of Attraction in your Life
Now that you have an understanding of how the Law of Attraction works, the question is; how do you utilize it in your everyday life?
At the beginning, I will admit it is difficult, and a little bit of work, but if you are consistent and keep those positive thoughts flowing, it will become easier with time. Listed below are some things I use to keep the Law of Attraction flowing in my life:

 

 

1. Thoughts become things.

The most important thing to understand is that what you think about, on a daily basis, will manifest in your life. Whether it is good or bad, positive or negative, it will continue to manifest. The Law of attraction gives you just what you are asking for. For myself, negative things continued to happen in my life. I never could understand why they were happening. When I really began to understand, I realized that I was bringing this negativity into my life, just by what I was thinking. Change your MINDSET, change your LIFE!

 

2. Be grateful.

Be grateful for everything you have in your life RIGHT NOW! Your job, your family, your housing; BE GRATEFUL! When you wake up in the morning, say thank you for everything you are grateful for. From being able to see, to having legs to walk. Even that job you may not like, be grateful that it allows you to pay your bills.

 

3. Start small. Don’t expect overnight miracles to happen every single moment (it can happen), think about small items. This seems silly, but I love collecting rocks. So when I go to the beach, I visualize the particular rock I want and I usually am able to find it. Seems silly, but it gives me that happiness and grateful feeling to manifest even larger things!

Even if you don’t think you have a way of getting these things, when you put it out to the universe, by acting on your dreams, the universe makes a way.

 

5. Reading or creating affirmations for yourself.

Affirmations are short, but powerful words that you can repeat to yourself every single day.  Affirmations, become the thoughts that create YOUR reality.  What you think about, you are.  are I keep affirmations around me everywhere. They are at my desk at work, in my bedroom, in my home office and even in my phone! Whenever I need that boost, I go to one of those areas and read. I even create own personalized affirmations. 6. Vision Boards.

I LOVE vision boards! It gives me a concept of what I want now and in the near future. All you need is a poster board, scissors, glue and some old magazines, and time. Carefully go through the magazines and find words and pictures that describe who you are and who you want to be. Cut them out and strategically place them on the vision board. I have several vision boards, based on different areas of my life along with a main one that I use for everyday goals. There are so many different types of ways to create vision boards. I’m currently creating a “Vision Journey” where I not only post inspiring pictures and words, but I write my goals down as well.

 

7. Remove all negative thoughts. Sometimes, when we don’t see the things we want come into fruition, we get frustrated and give up. DON’T DO THIS!! Have “unwavering faith”. As one of the speakers and my personal favorite mentors Lisa Nichols states: “You can see the law of attraction everywhere. You draw everything to yourself. The people, the job, the circumstances, the health, the wealth, the debt, the joy the car that you drive, the community that you’re in. And you’ve drawn them all to you, like a magnet. What you think about you bring about. Your whole life is a manifestation of the thoughts that go on in your head.”

The Law of Attraction for me is real, and it works! It takes time, patience and an open mind to be able to use it and see the results.  But once you see the results, the opportunities become endless!
